General Warranty & Return Policy

General Warranty Policy

Parts Navigator Pty Ltd, provides a general warranty through the manufacturer for the duration of six months from the date of purchase, unless other warranties have been specified at the time of product purchase. Parts Navigator Pty Ltd does not warrant the proper or improper installation and/or application of the purchased, exchanged, traded, bartered, or complimentary procured product/item and/or the competence and/or diagnosis of the installer.

Parts Navigator Pty Ltd assumes no liability and will not pay for labour, damage, rental car, hotel, towing claims, etc. arising from the installation or use of the above mentioned product(s)/item(s).

Also, due to the complexity of emission control systems, Parts Navigator Pty Ltd does not warranty the part/item to pass emission control inspection solely on its own merit. This guarantee does not apply to any defects caused by misuse, collisions or other accidents, negligence, or any authorised or unreasonable use including, but not limited to, improper application and installation.

Parts Navigator Pty Ltd neither assumes nor authorises any person, agent, distributor, dealer, repair technician, service facility, or company to change, modify, supplement or amend this warranty or assume for Parts Navigator Pty Ltd any warranty or liability in connection with the remanufacturing, sale, shipment or use of the part(s)/item(s). Parts Navigator Pty Ltd does not authorise any other person, agent, distributor, dealer, repair technician, service facility, or company to make any qualitative determinations as to the fitness of the part(s)/item(s).

Parts Navigator Pty Ltd reserves the right to make changes, modifications, or improvements in these parts/items without incurring any obligation to similarly alter, modify, or improve products previously purchased, exchanged, traded, bartered, or complimentary procured.

If the return is approved, we will initiate a refund to the customer’s original method of payment


General Products Return Policy

If you are dissatisfied with your part purchase for any reason, you may, so long as, the product has not been installed, assembled or damaged by you, it is not a part (s) supplied from overses as special order for your request and marked as non-returnable, the part (s) is not a non stock item, return it within 14 days from the date of delivery of the part (s) for a refund or replacement (subject to product availability and inspection). After 14 days from the day the part (s) has been delivered the part (s) can not be returned and/or replaced and/or refunded. The part returned, must be in the exact condition as when it was shipped to you. If you have any questions regarding your part after the 15-day period, please contact the manufacturer of your product. Non-defective product returns that are returned for credit may be subject to a ten percent (10%) restocking fee. A restocking fee will not be charged if your return is the result of an erroneous shipment by Parts Navigator Pty Ltd. All returns are also subject to inspection prior to refund or replacement. In order to return an item, you need to obtain aproval to return the part (s) by submiting Request for Return form available at our website. Request for Return has to be submitted in order to qualify for credit, refund or replacement. All instructions must be followed exactly as specified with the Request for Return form. The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs if a customer has:

  • changed their mind, decided they no longer want the goods or just don’t like them, or found that goods are the wrong size or colour
  • found they can buy the same or similar goods elsewhere for a cheaper price
  • examined goods before buying them and should have seen any fault at that time
  • had a defect drawn to their attention before they purchased goods, for example, when goods are clearly labelled as seconds or faulty
  • not checked a product for correctness before purchase

Note: Electronic components such as lights, bulbs, ignition parts, relays, sensors and switches will not receive a refund if the packaging has been opened or installation has been attempted. Parts Navigator Pty Ltd is not responsible for any labour work, or any other costs encountered during the installation of defective parts.

We are not responsible for installation errors. We are not responsible for any labour expenses, towing expenses, or rental car expenses that occur as the result of the installation of any wrong or defective parts.

Purchaser must present original sale receipt and box must be accompanied with a copy of the approved by Parts Navigator Return Request form

To obtain aproval for return the Request for Return form has to be submitted

Part (s)/Item (s) will only be approved for warranty, tested, and/or rebuilt under warranty with approval from the Parts Navigator Customer Service Department. The customer must first conatct the Customer Service Department with any problems or issues, before returning the part(s)/item(s). An approved Request for Return form will be required to return the part(s)/item(s) to the manufacturer for warranty work.

All parts/items must be returned to the manufacturer for warranty work. No exchanges, refunds or credits will be given at any time without first contacting the Parts Navigator Customer Service Department and obtaining an approved Request for Return form.

Any tamper seal found to be broken will automatically void the manufacturer's warranty.

Any returned part(s)/item(s), found to be contaminated with rust, varnish, or any other type of contaminant, will automatically void the manufacturer's warranty.

Part(s) supplied from overseas as a special customer order and labeled and/or marked as non-returnable is considrerd as a non stock item(s) and are not returnable and not refundable under no circumstances.

It is customer's responsibility to provide the correct and complete information and/or specifications about the vehicle they ordering and/or ordered part (s) for. Parts Navigator Pty Ltd do not take any responsibilty for the part(s) supplied from overseas and ordered as a special order for customer's request if the customer provides incorrect or incomplete information and/or specifications about the vehicle the customer ordered part(s) for. Part (s), supplied from overses as a special order for customer's request and found incorrect due to the customer provided incorrect or incomplete information and/or specifications about the vehicle the part (s) supplied for, are not returnable and not refundable under no circumstances.

Core Return Policy

The following conditions must be met to receive core credit:
  • Core must be returned in original box of purchase.
  • Core must be packaged and wrapped to avoid damage.
  • Core must be returned within 30 days.
  • Core must have all original parts attached.
  • Core must be rebuild able and free of broken, frozen or missing parts.
  • Core must be exact core sold.
  • Core from salvage/wrecking yard or with water damage will not be accepted.
No credit for returned core (s) will be given for the following:
  • Frozen Cores or Frozen Parts
  • Broken Cores
  • Disassembled Core
  • Wrong Cores
  • Missing Parts
